Kid One Transport is a nonprofit, non-emergency, medical transport organization whose mission is to ensure that children and expectant mothers with little or no means of transportation can access needed medical care and mental health services.

Kid One was founded in 1997, and since our inception, we have been working to bridge the transportation gap that prevents families from accessing basic and critical health services, including preventative care/well visits, behavioral counseling and mental health services, dental and vision care, dialysis, chemotherapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, prenatal care, and so much more.

Kid One is the only nonprofit transportation provider in the state of Alabama that provides rides to medical and mental health appointments for children under the age of 19 and expectant mothers at little or no cost to them.
